Claims and Shipping Responsibility: Goods are carefully packed by experienced packers and we cannot be responsible for any goods broken or damaged in transit. Claims, therefore should be made promptly with the carrier. The ownership of title to all goods passes to the buyer the moment the shipment is out of the hands of the seller, and in those of the transportation company. The goods should be paid for by the consignee in the regular manner, as responsibility for non-delivery or breakage does not rest with us. We will, at all times, be very glad to assist our customers with claims, by furnishing necessary documents and doing all in our power to help in securing indemnity. The express and transportation companies are responsible for only a limited amount in case of loss or damage. All shipments exceeding in value this limited amount should be fully insured. All parcel post shipments are insured by us at standard rates and charges added to our invoice. CLAIMS FOR SHORTAGES OR ERRORS IN SHIPMENTS MUST BE MADE TO US WITHIN 5 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF GOODS.
